Having and maintaining a healthy body isn't just about watching your calories, it's about consuming the right amount of food from a variety of food groups. To maintain a balanced diet, you should include a daily amount of grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, meat & beans and essential oils.

The USDA has created a general food plan depending on your age, gender and level of physical activity. These plans were designed by the USDA and are for the general public ages 2 and over*.
